3 Unrelated Triple Shootings Within Hours Leave 4 Dead In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - Detroit police say three unrelated triple shootings within nine hours have killed four people, including a 17-year-old boy.
Police say they have suspects or people of interest in all three shootings.
Police say the first attack happened at 5:30 p.m. Friday, when someone opened fire on a parked van, killing two people and injuring another.
Early Saturday morning, police say a man upset that a night club was closing opened fire, killing one person and injuring two others. A 36-year-old Ecorse man was arrested.
Just five minutes later, someone approached an SUV with three teenage boys in it in it and opened fire.
A 17-year-old was killed and two 16-year-olds were seriously hurt.
