3 Tornadoes Confirmed In Michigan
DEXTER (WWJ) - The National Weather Service has confirmed three tornadoes touched down in southeast Michigan on Thursday.
The tornado in Dexter was rated an EF 3 with maximum winds of 135 to 140 miles per hour. The tornado path was more than 7 miles with a width in places of 800 yards.
In Lapeer County, the tornado packed winds of 125 miles per hour.
In Monroe County the tornado that hit near Ida had wind speeds of 85 miles per hour.
No one was seriously injured or killed.
