3 Teens Charged With Murder Of 17-Year-Old Outside Eastland Mall
ROMULUS (WWJ) -- Three Detroit teens have been arraigned in a shooting at Eastland Mall that has left another teenager dead last week.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kim Worthy has charged 18-year-old Brendon Stanton Lipscomb, 17-year-old Demetrius Armour and 17-year-old Tyshon Taylor with planning and carrying out the attack.
The teens were charged with first-degree murder, with carries a penalty of mandatory life in prison, as well as assault with intent to commit murder.
Tyrell Lane, 17, was fatally shot as he was exiting the Eastland Center's Burlington Coat Factory in Harper Woods the day after Christmas. Before the murder, Worthy says, the teens beat up two other teens at the mall.
