3 Suspects In Custody In Shooting Of 2 Teens
MT. CLEMENS (WWJ) - Macomb County Sheriff's deputies investigating the shooting of two teens.
The shooting took place in Mt. Clemens near the area of Clemens and Court streets. Police say the two victims, one from New Haven and the other from Eastpointe, are both 17 years old.
Detectives have found a 9-mm semi automatic handgun believed to be the weapon used in the shooting.
Three suspects were arrested on unrelated charges including resisting and obstructing, fleeing and eluding, possession of marijuana and receiving and concealing a stolen firearm. They are a 23 year-old and a 39-year-old man from Mt. Clemens and an 18-year-old man from Roseville.
Police said the two victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released from the hospital.
A motive for the shooting is still under investigation. No names have been released.
