3 Reasons Red Wings' Goalie Petr Mrazek's Season Is So Special

The 3 top reasons that Red Wings' goalie Petr Mrazek's season is so special this year:
1. His goals against average (1.94) and save percentage (.934) are better than Montreal's Carey Price last season when Price was awarded the Hart Trophy as the NHL's MVP. Mrazek leads the NHL in both categories so far this season.
2. No Red Wings goalie has had a goals against average below 2.00 since Hall of Famer Terry Sawchuk in the 1950s. Mrazek's current save percentage is best franchise history.
3. Mrazek has won 10 of his 12 decisions since the start of the calendar year, so it is translating into victories.
