3 Men Wanted In Gas Station, 7-Eleven Robberies
MACOMB TWP. (WWJ) - Police are hoping the public can help identify three men suspected of robbing at least two businesses in Macomb County.
The first robbery happened around 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 at the BP gas station at the corner of Hall and Hayes roads in Macomb Township. While one of the suspects distracted the clerk, police say the other suspects entered an office through an unlocked door and stole cash and coins. The suspects then fled the scene in a black, older-model Ford Explorer.
Police say the same three men are suspected of robbing a 7-Eleven store in Sterling Heights later on the same day.
A surveillance camera inside the gas station captured photographs of the suspects and the vehicle they were driving at the time.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 35- to 40-years-old, 6' tall and 200 lbs. He was wearing a tan/white hooded sweatshirt, tan khaki pants and a black knit hat.
The second suspect is described as a black male, 40- to 45-years old, 6' tall and 180 lbs. He was wearing black pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt and white tennis shoes.
The third suspect is described as black male, 40- to 45-years old, 5'1-" tall and 180 lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a black knit hat.
