3 Frankenmuth Cheerleaders To March In NYC Parade
FRANKENMUTH (AP) - Three high school cheerleaders from Frankenmuth are heading to New York to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Abby Engel, Audrey Gray and Abbey Leach are seniors at Frankenmuth High School and captains of its cheerleading squad.
Mlive.com says they'll be among 650 cheerleaders who will start the 86th annual parade Thursday morning in front of the Macy's Herald Square store.
After kicking off the event, they'll double back and escort Santa Claus along the 2.5-mile course.
