Bertuzzi Sticks Up For Mule
Red Wings forward Todd Bertuzzi saw linemate Johan Franzen get hit Wednesday and reacted immediately.
Pittsburgh's Brooks Orpik received a 5-minute major penalty for kneeing Franzen and a game misconduct. Franzen missed the final two periods but escaped serious injury. He said Thursday at Joe Louis Arena that he had a charley horse -- he would not specify which leg -- and hoped to be back on the ice in a couple of days.
