$2,500 Reward In Case Of Missing Clawson Man David "Taco" Bell
UPDATE 9/16: Missing Clawson Man David "Taco" Bell Found Safe
CLAWSON (WWJ) - A cash reward of up to $2,500 is now being offered for tips in the case of an Oakland County man who disappeared early this month.
Police say 29-year-old David "Taco" Bell of Clawson was last seen by his father in Clawson on Thursday, Sept. 1, and left without his keys, bike, truck and other personal belongings.
Bell is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes and answers to the nickname "Taco." He was last seen wearing "business casual" clothing.
Clawson Police Detective Dale Mills told WWJ that Bell suffers from depression and he had just received some bad news around the time he disappeared.
Family members say Bell's not returning home is completely out of character and he has not returned any phone calls.
"Anytime anyone suffers with any sort of ailment like that — depression, bipolar, anything — it always heightens the reason to file a police report and have us assist in locating the person," Mills said. "Because people who have depression, you know, you don't know what their mindset could be, so you want to make sure you locate them and make sure they're OK before anything does go wrong."
Anyone who may have seen Bell or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Clawson police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Tips may also be submitted online at this link, or by texting CSM and the tip to CRIMES (2746370).
All tips and rewards thorough Crime Stoppers are completely anonymous.
