2016 Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan Ready To Roll

DETROIT (WWJ) - It's one of those event baseball fans have been looking forward to all winter. The 2016 Tigers Winter Caravan is ready to roll!

The caravan will be making nearly 30 stops throughout the region, including 10 new destinations. The Metro Bus will visit with Centro Multicultural Familia, the Detroit Public Library and the Livonia Fire Department to name a few, while the West Bus will debut at the Lansing State Journal and Meijer Headquarters.

The public is invited to the caravan's stop at Hockeytown Authentics in Troy from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday. The first 150 fans to donate a minimum of 3 canned goods and will receive a free photo with J.D Martinez and Daniel Norris. Wristband distribution begins at 4 p.m. Plus you can win great prizes. The Tigers will also talk to fans during a stop Friday afternoon at the Auto Show, from 2:45-3:45 p.m., where they will participate in the parade of cars. Players will also participate in a roundtable question and answer session in the Chevrolet display area.
