2013 Solar Power International Conference to Feature GreenLancer.com
DETROIT (WWJ) -- GreenLancer.com, a cloud-based service for solar energy design and permitting, has announced its participation in two major conferences and a spike in customers since launching its "Virtual Engineering Center" in June.
GreenLancer.com has been selected to appear in Start Up Alley (Booth 3650) at the 2013 Solar Power International, Oct. 21-24 in Chicago. This industry event attracts more than 15,000 solar energy experts from 75 countries. As part of the program, GreenLancer.com was selected as a finalist to participate in a business proposal competition judged by a virtual who's who of the solar industry.
"Solar Power International is a marquee show in the solar industry," said Michael Sharber, CEO GreenLancer.com. "Beyond the visibility on the show floor, we've already been contacted by representatives from several of the largest solar companies in the world who are interested in discussing our business model, recent growth and potential future opportunities."
On Nov. 12-14, GreenLancer.com will compete in the "Accelerate Michigan Innovation" competition, a high-profile international competition designed to bring together later stage entrepreneurial companies with a strong investor base. Potential new investors track the competition which culminates in multiple prizes ranging from $25,000 to $500,000.
GreenLancer.com recently launched its complete Virtual Engineering Center, the final step in its fully automated "assembly line" platform. Since launching the Phase 1 system in June 2013, GreenLancer sales and revenue have significantly outperformed expectations, including a 450 percent spike in customers.
"Launching our comprehensive Virtual Engineering Center has allowed GreenLancer to more fully focus on building our business outreach to customers, investors and potential partners," Sharber said. "These upcoming events are exactly the type of activities that allow us to showcase our innovations and engage new audiences."
