$2,000 Reward Offered For Info Leading To Arrest Of Attempted Carjacking Suspects
DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to find the suspect in an attempted carjacking on the city's west side.
Authorities say a man and a woman entered a gas station on Wyoming around 10 p.m. Friday night. A 66-year-old man was pumping gas when one suspect allegedly demanded the keys.
The victim went along with it and both suspects got into the car. When the male suspect got into the driver's seat and couldn't figure out how to start the car, they both fled on foot.
The victim was not injured.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 19 years old, 6 feet tall, slim build, medium to dark complexion, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants. He was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is described as a black female, 17 years old, 5-foot-4, medium build, medium to dark complexion, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white pants with black stripes.

H.E.A.T. is offering a $2,000 rewards for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
