20-Year-Old Charged With Open Murder Of U-M Med Student
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - One of the men suspected in the murder of a University of Michigan medical student was back in court on Tuesday - this time formally charged with open murder.
Joei Jordan stood mute to the charge - a not guilty plea entered on his behalf.
The 20-year-old had already been arraigned on home invasion charges. Police suspect Jordan and an accomplice broke into Paul DeWolf's Ann Arbor apartment and killed him during a robbery.
Jordan has been denied bail and will be back in court next month.
