2 U-M Students Stabbed At Halloween Frat Party
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Two University of Michigan students are recovering after being stabbed at a frat party overnight.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday at an off-campus fraternity near Washtenaw Avenue and South University Avenue.
Two students had what were described as minor stab wounds following a fight with someone who wasn't invited to the party, police said.
Both victims, an 18- and 19-year-old, ended up at U-M Hospital for treatment, although one has already been released.
Ann Arbor police have a 23-year-old man in custody who reportedly was not cooperative with officers. Police said the man does not attend the university.
Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the incident, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
