2 Suspects Arraigned In Armed Robbery At HFCC
DEARBORN (WWJ) - Two suspected armed robbers involved in a police chase appeared in a Dearborn court Monday .
One of the men is accused of stealing a purse and cell phone from a woman who was walking to her car at Henry Ford Community College Friday afternoon.
Dearborn and Detroit police captured the suspects after a chase in which one of the suspects pointed his gun at the cops.
Douglas Eugene Sampson, 27, and Ralph Brantley, 25, both of Detroit and were arraigned on charges of armed robbery and on two counts of assault with intent to murder among others.
Bond for Brantley and Sampson was set at one million dollars.
The two men may be involved in other robberies in Detroit earlier Friday.
An investigation into those incidents is ongoing.
A preliminary examination has been scheduled for August 30, 2013.
