2 Suspects Arraigned In Connection To Robbery At TCF Bank
TAYLOR - Two suspects were arraigned in 23rd District Court Wednesday in connection with the bank robbery Tuesday of a TCF Bank on Ecorse.
Witnesses told police that a man entered the TCF Bank at about 2:15 p.m. and gave a teller a note saying he would kill her if she didn't give him the money. One of the suspects, Jameel Robinson, allegedly implied he had a gun and fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
"We had some officers in the right place at the right time and it resulted in some good police work yesterday," Chief Mary Sclabassi said. The two suspects were arrested shortly after the robbery.
Robinson, 25, of Dearborn Heights is charged with bank robbery, armed robbery and using a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony.
Rayna Sharron-Michelle Walker, 27, of Taylor is accused of driving the getaway vehicle and charged with fleeing and eluding and using a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony.
Robinson is being held of a $250,00 cash bond, while Walker is being held on a $5,000
cash bond.
Both are scheduled to appear in 23rd District Court on April 13th.
