2 In Custody In McDonald's Courier Robbery
ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) - Two men have been arrested, accused of robbing a money courier at a Rochester Hills McDonald's back in January.
Oakland County Sheriff's officials say 19-year-old Larry Marrioneaux, a Macomb Township resident, knocked a courier to the ground -- getting away with three bags full of money.
Detectives say 23-year-old Brandon King of Waterford, a former McDonald's employee, was also involved. He allegedly called the restaurant to see if the courier had shown up, pretending he was looking for change to do laundry.
Bond was set at $25,000 for King and $15,000 for Marrioneaux, who were both arraigned Tuesday on unarmed robbery charges. They will be back in court next Wednesday for a preliminary exam.
Each faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
