2 Dead, 1 Injured In Southwest Detroit Shooting
DETROIT (WWJ) - A triple shooting in southwest Detroit has left two men dead and another injured. Police were swarming the scene Friday afternoon at the corner of Cabot and West Vernor.
Police said three individuals drove up in a silver or gray vehicle. The driver got out and opened fire on the three victims.
"It was a gray Taurus ... pulled up on three gentlemen, asked them some questions. The gentlemen put their hands up, then they started shooting," one man said.
He described the scene.
"I see two men laid out on the ground on Cabot, that's the west side of the street, laying out -- one on the ground and one on the grass," he said.
Police are searching for the suspect vehicle.
Correction: Earlier we quoted an individual who we said witnessed the shooting. That was incorrect.
