2 Arrested In Murder Of Elderly Royal Oak Woman
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Royal Oak police, working with the Oakland County Fugitive Apprehension Team and U.S. Marshalls, have arrested two people in connection with the homicide of Nancy Dailey.
Police said the two suspects, a man and a woman, were wanted on felony parole absconder warrants -- but authorities not revealing any more about their criminal records.
The 80-year-old Royal Oak woman was found dead in her home in a neighborhood near Woodward Ave. and 13 Mile Road. Police said she was tied up and her throat was cut. Her body was discovered Sunday night by officers who were asked to check on her by concerned loved ones.
Police said Dailey did try to fight off her attackers, who may have also robbed her home. Police have said they don't believe anyone else was involved in Dailey's death, although the investigation is ongoing.
