18-Year-Old Dies In Head-On Crash In Ypsi Township
YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened Saturday afternoon on Whittaker and Merritt in Ypsilanti Township.
Police say an 18-year old man was southbound on Whittaker at a high rate of speed when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on. The 18-year old, from Whittaker, died at the scene.
The other motorist was injured and taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contac the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department.
