11-Year-Old Critically Injured In Double Shooting On Detroit's West Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - An 11-year-old boy is one of two people who were left in critical condition following a shooting on Detroit's west side.
Police say the shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday on Prest Street, near Greenfield and Plymouth roads.
According to police, a 26-year-old man pulled up to a residence and got out of his vehicle, when two people fired multiple shots at him from across the street. The man was shot along with the boy, who was inside a home at the time. Both victims were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The child's mother and another woman who were sitting on the porch were uninjured.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident. As of Wednesday morning, they haven't made any arrests.
