10,000 Lose Power In Royal Oak Area After Sub-Station Problem
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - About 10,000 DTE customers in the Royal Oak area are without power due to a sub-station equipment issue.
DTE tells WWJ that in order to fix the problem they need to shut off power to customers in the 13 Mile and Coolidge and Webster and Woodward areas.
DTE says safety is the utmost concern as they move service to a different sub-station for the affected customers.
There is no word at this time when service will be restored.
