$1,000 Reward Offered For Info Leading To Arrest Of Suspected Bank Robber

DETROIT (WWJ) – Crime Stoppers of Michigan is asking for the public's help finding a man who allegedly robbed a bank on Wednesday in Detroit.

Jerald Childs is wanted for the robbery of the Bank of America on Woodward near Mack that happened at around 1:30 p.m.

Childs, 57, is described as a 5-foot-4 black man with a slim build, a dark complexion, a bald head and a thin mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap and a dark coat.

Childs was driving a dark green 1997 Jeep Cherokee with no plate, but has the vin number 1J4FX58S2VC624259.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
