1 Woman Dead After Early Morning Fire Engulfs Home
CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A Clinton Township woman is dead after her home caught fire on Friday.
Fire officials say the 59-year-old woman was alone in the home when the fire broke out around 7 a.m.
When firefighters arrived at the home on Biland Street, near Cass and Hall Road, it was engulfed in flames. Rescue crews worked hard to save the woman -- but she died later Friday afternoon at an area hospital.
