1 Person Dead After Car Crashes Into Home In Monroe
MONROE (WWJ) - One person is dead after a car crashes into a Monroe county home.
Police say the car was headed south on Monroe Street when it left the road and hit a house on Stedman around 7 a.m. Sunday.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No one inside of the house - which is extensively damaged - was hurt.
Anyone with information is asked to call Monroe police as the investigation continues.
