1 Killed, 3 Hurt In Macomb County Crash
BRUCE TWP. (WWJ) - One person is dead and three others injured following a crash early Tuesday morning in Macomb County's Bruce Township.
Investigators say a Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound on Hipp Road from 36 Mile Road when it struck a tree head-on.
The driver and two of the passengers were transported to Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center. The front seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Airbags were deployed and it was not immediatly known if all occupants were wearing seatbelts.
A preliminary investigation reveals that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
