1 Dead In Suspected Road Rage Incident On I-75 In Hazel Park
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say road rage could be to blame for a fatal accident on southbound I-75 Tuesday night.
The incident apparently involved two speeding vehicles near Woodward Heights in Hazel Park. Michigan State Police say a Cadillac and a GMC pickup truck were involved.
Police say the Cadillac flipped over and the driver, 40-year-old Stacie N. Pennington of Harper Woods, was ejected. Pennington later died at a local hospital.
Police are now trying to locate the other driver, who never stopped after the accident. Police say they're now searching for a white GMC pickup truck with tinted windows and a "Pure Michigan" license plate.
