1 Dead As Church Van With 17 Inside Flips On Highway
GRAND RAPIDS (WWJ) - An 18-year old man is dead, and several other people are hospitalized, after a church van flips and crashes on I-96 near Grand Rapids.
The van was headed back to Lansing from Grand Rapids Sunday when it blew a tire.
Most of the 17 people in that van weren't wearing seat belts and were thrown from the vehicle.
Police say they are having trouble communicating with some of the victims because they do not speak English.
