Will Colorado's cage-free egg law increase egg prices in the new year?

Today, a carton of a dozen eggs in Colorado costs around $4, up from a national average of $1.79 three years ago. Cage-free requirements can increase the cost but there's already a nationwide bird flu outbreak and egg shortage.
