Women In Critical Condition After Stepping Out Of Stalled Car
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman is in the hospital with critical injuries from what started as a stalled car.
The car stalled Tuesday afternoon on eastbound 6th Avenue and Indiana in Lakewood. When the driver stepped out of her car an oncoming van slammed into her.
The victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital. The driver of the van stopped and was not hurt.
Police closed eastbound 6th Avenue for 2 hours to investigate.
