Woman With Son With Cerebral Palsy Can't Stop Cellphone Tower From Being Built
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) - Plans to build a cellphone tower at a church in Broomfield are going forward despite a woman's concern that the tower frequencies will harm her son.
The Verizon tower will be built at the Calvary Church near the Willow Park neighborhood. Stacy Warden says her son with cerebral palsy and a sensory processing disorder makes him especially sensitive to cell tower frequencies.
Warden asked the city council Tuesday night to reconsider plans for the tower but she was not able to change members' minds.
