Woman Charged In Deadly Hit & Run Appears In Court
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4)- The woman charged in a deadly hit-and-run in Lone Tree last month appeared in court Friday morning.
Erin Finn has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death and careless driving resulting in death.
Police said Finn, 20, lied about her SUV being stolen after it was linked to the hit-and-run.
Dennis Dolce, a father of three, was killed when the vehicle he was driving was struck head-on by an SUV after the suspected driver, Finn, crossed the median of C-470 in Lone Tree on Nov. 1.
Police say Erin Finn fled and flagged down a driver who took her to a nearby 7-Eleven and then reported the car stolen. Police later matched a black glove outside her apartment to a Halloween costume seen in the 7-Eleven surveillance video.
Dolce's family says the father of three was headed to work at UPS.
