Wings Over The Rockies Welcomes Naval Jet Aircraft, The 'Prowler'
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A retired military plane has made its final journey to the Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum in Aurora.
Overnight crews towed the EA-6B Prowler from Buckley Air Force Base to the museum on a tractor truck. They estimated it would take roughly two hours to drive the eight miles. The plane received its own escort with police cars and a bucket truck.
The museum said the move was not as impressive as a Toyota hauling the space shuttle, but still cool enough to invite the public to watch the event.
