Weld County Takes Action After Tragic Deaths Of Infants
WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - There have been four tragic deaths and now Weld County is taking action to keep babies safe while they sleep.
Four infants died last year from sleeping in unsafe conditions. Either their parents rolled on top of them or they suffocated in soft bedding and blankets.
Weld County Health is urging all parents not to share a bed with their babies and put them in a safety-approved crib or bassinet.
Babies should also be placed on their backs with no pillows or comforters in the crib.
