Deputies Shoot Man After Chase
WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Sheriff's deputies in Weld County shot a man after a chase on Sunday.
Investigators say the suspect, Michael Nash, was speeding down Highway 52 in Fort Lupton when a deputy tried to pull him over.
Nash didn't stop so deputies gave chase. Deputies say Nash was armed with a handgun and the deputy shot him.
Nash was rushed to the hospital and expected to survive.
He is expected to face charges of menacing, eluding and illegal discharge of a weapon.
