Weekend Steals & Deals: 'Marvelous Mud'

DENVER (CBS4) - Mud, believe it or not, is one of history's earliest art forms. From useful tools to works of art, it has been used in one form or another since the beginning of time. Now a new exhibit at the Denver Art Museum examines how far mud has come.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody took a tour of the new exhibit.

"Ever since you were a kid, you knew mud was marvelous," Moody said. "Now 'Marvelous Mud' gives soggy dirt it's due in eight exciting new interactive exhibits."

"Marvelous Mud" opens on Saturday at the Denver Art Museum and is part of the museum admission, along with the Mud Studio where you can watch demonstrations or jump right in the "Outdoor Clayground" or any of the family activities.

Tickets for the museum are only $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and college students. It's $3 for children up to age 18.
