Victims Of Oklahoma State Plane Crash Remembered
BYERS, Colo. (AP) -- It's been 10 years since a plane carrying Oklahoma State basketball players and others crashed in Colorado, killing 10 people.
Representatives of the university and from the sheriff's and fire departments who responded to the crash placed wreaths at a memorial near the crash site Thursday.
Former OSU vice president, David Bosserman, his executive assistant, Nancy Horner, physical plant director Rick Krysiak and Leon Jones from campus police have visited every year since the crash.
The plane was returning to Stillwater after a game against Colorado in Boulder when it crashed in a field 40 miles east of Denver.
The victims will also be remembered at 6:37 p.m. Central time when the OSU library carillon will toll 10 times.
