Vets Get A Free Ride On 'The Carousel Of Happiness' In Nederland
NEDERLAND, Colo. (CBS4) - Veterans on Monday get a free ride on what's known as "The Carousel of Happiness."
Monday marks the third anniversary of the opening of the unique attraction in Nederland. The carousel was restored by a Vietnam veteran who hand carved 36 unique animals for the ride.
The vet will be handing out free tickets to other vets to show his appreciation for their service this Memorial Day.
