Vandal Pleads Guilty In Islamic Center Hate Crime
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A man who vandalized the Islamic Center of Fort Collins pleaded guilty for the hate crime on Monday.
Surveillance video from March shows Joseph Giaquinto kicking the mosque. He also threw rocks and a bible through the window.
The Coloradoan reports he will be checked into a wellness court instead of jail.
There he will undergo therapy and psychiatric treatment. A judge changed his bond earlier this year so he could be treated for post-traumatic stress disorder.
