Tut Nearly Tripled Museum Attendance From 2009
DENVER (CBS4) - The weekend finale of the King Tut exhibit drew huge crowds. The last-minute visitors nearly tripled overall museum attendance since Tut opened in July.
The Denver Art Museum drew 270,000 visitors from July through September compared to 96,000 during the same period in 2009.
From October to December 290,000 people came through the doors. About 109,000 visited the art museum during those same months the year earlier.
