Tow Truck Dragging Trial To Stay In Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - The trial for a woman accused of dragging a tow truck driver to his death will be held in Colorado Springs.
Attorneys for Detra Farries wanted the trial moved to Denver. She'll go on trial in November for several felonies, including vehicular homicide.
Last February Allen Rose was dragged more than a mile after getting tangled in the tow chains. Investigators say Rose was in the process of trying to tow Farries' car when she got in and drove off.
