Wander around one of the largest parks in Colorado a bit and you'll find some truly spectacular views. It isn't hard to find the perfect backdrop that instantly says "Colorado" in which the Denver skyline is framed by the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Head over there just before the sun sets so you can get all the pretty orange, pink, blue and purple colors as the sun begins to fall behind the mountains. Also known as "The Big Blue Bear," this photo spot is the perfect way to add some whimsy into your family photos. The huge 40-foot-tall blue bear is an icon of Denver and you can get nice and close for a truly silly family portrait. Lawrence Argent, a local artist who was looking to add some humor into the design of the Colorado Convention Center, created the sculpture. You'll want to have your photographer stand about 50 feet away so that you can get the best view or lay on the ground and point that camera up to get the full view of the huge blue beast.

The bold geometric patterns were inspired by the Rocky Mountains, creating beautiful angles and a stunning backdrop for your family photo. Make sure to bring the right lens or have your photographer get a low angle so that you can really capture this architectural beauty. Also, since the color of the building is basically a neutral, you can wear just about any colors in your photo. Bright, solid colors would be a great choice in front of the Denver Art Museum.
