Anderson Farms is the home of the longest-running corn maze in Colorado, and these folks really know how to do it right. As the only haunted hayride and ghost town, Terror in the Corn will amaze and delight the Halloween lover in you. You'll go on a 35-minute wander through an unforgiving cornfield as you find all sorts of terrifying creatures just waiting to scare you. The Fritzler Corn Maze is another premier Colorado attraction every October. Located just seven miles south of Greeley, it's a short drive from Denver, making it a great spot for a night's entertainment for the whole family. This traditional corn maze is filled with lots of twists and turns, giving you the perfect opportunity to work together to conquer the maze. Enjoy the ATV mini roller coaster, check out the go-carts or hop around on the pillow jump. Miller Farms is a wonderful traditional family farm, and the Fall Harvest Festival is the perfect spot for those with younger kids. The Harvest Festival starts with a visit to the petting zoo before you head out to the corn maze. It's a smaller maze, perfect for the kiddos, not too scary nor too long. Then enjoy the rest of the festival with a huge jumping balloon, picnic tables and lots of yummy farm favorite foods. You can also take a hayride through 180 acres of fields to pick your own vegetables, even a pumpkin to take home.

One of the largest corn mazes in Colorado is this popular one at Harvest Farm. This 10-acre corn maze is always a beautiful work of art, designed each year to celebrate something or someone special.. The 2013 design is a thank you to the firefighters who worked so hard over this past summer's very difficult fire season. You can stop by the website before you visit and print out the aerial view of the maze, giving you a map of the maze to help you as you tackle it. There is also a traditional petting zoo, pumpkin patch and even corn cannons to help round out your harvest time festival fun.

The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield brings plenty of experience to the world of the corn maze with its annual eight-acre maze. This year the design is the Colorado flag with a labyrinth in the center. Bring the whole family as you wander through acres and acres of corn, or view the design from two 15-foot-tall bridges so you can get a view of what you are about to explore. The fall festival includes all the traditional goodies like freshly squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, hot dogs and kettle corn.
