Tim Tebow Prays During Medical Incident On Plane, Takes Victim's Wife To Hospital
PHOENIX (DENVER) - Former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow came to the aid of a family while a man was suffering from a medical condition on a flight on Sunday.
Tebow was on a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta to Phoenix when a man suffering from an apparent heart attack was given CPR and an automated external defibrillator (AED) was used to get his pulse back after the plane landed.
Plane passenger Richard V. Gotti posted a comment and photo on Facebook of Tebow praying with the man's family during the incident.
"I listened to shock after shock from the AED machine and still no pulse. No one gave up. I observed people praying and lifting this man up to the Lord in a way that I've never seen before," Gotti said in the post. "Then all of a sudden, I observed a guy walking down the aisle. That guy was Tim Tebow. He met with the family as they cried on his shoulder! I watched Tim pray with the entire section of the plane for this man."
According to Lina Washington with KGET-TV, Tebow transported the man's wife to the hospital. He hasn't commented on the incident.
