Police Chief Tim Carlson Takes Leave Of Absence As Westminster Police Undergoes Review Of Workplace Environment
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - Tim Carlson, the Westminster Police Department's chief, is taking a leave of absence while his department undergoes a review. It is happening after staff raised concerns to the city over the department's workplace environment.
A third party review of the department's workplace has been ordered by the city.
Carlson will be paid during his absence.
Deputy Chief Norm Haubert will serve as acting police chief during this time.
