Thornton Police: It Was A Murder-Suicide
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Police on Thursday said their investigation has determined how a father and son who died from gunshot wounds were killed.
Authorities said Kevin Bristol, 30, shot Michael, 4, in his Thornton home late Monday night or early Tuesday and then shot himself. Briston's wife called 911 from the home after the shootings.
Both later died in the hospital.
A memorial stood outside the home on 9200 block of High Street on Wednesday night. Neighbors are distraught over the circumstances.
