Tebow Flies High School Football Player Who Lost Leg To Broncos Game

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Tim Tebow has met with Jacob Rainey, a Virginia high school player who had part of his right leg amputated after a gruesome injury.

They have met on the sideline Saturday at Ralph Wilson Stadium before Tebow and the Denver Broncos played the Buffalo Bills.

Rainey, a highly rated quarterback who was hurt in a September scrimmage, was flown to Buffalo to watch the Broncos play the Bills in a Christmas Eve game.

Tebow trotted off the field and met Rainey and his family just after the Broncos finished pregame warm-ups. The Denver QB hugged Rainey's entire contingent and the two conversed for several minutes on the sideline.

Then Tebow leaned in, whispered into Rainey's ear, and trotted into the Broncos locker room.

Tebow's foundation sponsored the visit.
