LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Longmont police say a man has been hospitalized after being choked while walking home from work Tuesday night.

The victim told police a man started choking him and his cellphone was stolen.

Officers and a SWAT team returned to the neighborhood Wednesday morning. Satur said police were investigating whether a man who lives in the area was responsible for the attack.

Nancy McGeown was inside her car in the neighborhood when SWAT asked her to leave.

"That was a little scary. They had their fatigues on and their rifles and everything," McGeown said.

Longmont police say they don't have enough evidence to arrest the suspect.

The victim was unable to identify his attacker in a photo lineup.

The names of the victim and suspect haven't been released.
