Shots Fired After Aurora Bank Robbery
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police arrested two suspects during a bank robbery in Aurora Friday afternoon.
Two heavily armed men entered the Citywide bank on Colfax between Iola and Ironton, took a gun from the security guard and robbed the bank.
While this was going on, a customer at the bank called police to tell them about the robbery. The suspects did not know police were called.
Police shot one of the suspects a few blocks away from the bank. The other suspect was arrested in the same area.
The suspect who was shot did not suffer life-threatening injuries. It is not known whether the suspect pointed his gun or fired at officers first.
The identities of those arrested has not been released.
