Suspect Who Was Shot By Jeffco Deputy Released From Hospital, In Custody
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - A man shot by a Jefferson County deputy is out of the hospital and in custody.
A deputy shot wanted felon Michael Manaois on Dec. 11. He was wanted for sexual assault and failure to register as a sex offender.
Investigators say Manaois locked himself inside a store in Littleton and refused to come out. Manaois ran and a deputy shot twice after reportedly seeing him with a gun.
A police K-9 also bit the suspect.
